November 9, 2021 at 10:51 pmMy heart is heavy with hearing this news and my thoughts go to all the O’Connor family on the passing of Seamus. He was a quiet and gentle man, with an inner strength and steadiness that made him comfortable with himself and others. Always a good and cheerful word was had from Seamus. Hardworking indeed, and enjoying his farming thoroughly. He had good tales and jokes. I certainly appreciated learning some of the history of the area from him. With the deep roots he and his family have in the area, he cared deeply about Culfadda and the surrounding land. I appreciated him as a good neighbor and always making me feel welcome. I shall raise a glass or two to his memory. To his family and all, as I always advise, he’ll be with you in spirit, right there with ye, by and with the telling of tales and the passing on the lessons he taught you in life. Hugs to all and take care.
